BioRoar. I'm Chy, an 18-year-old freshman at Mizzou. I'm an International Studies major with an emphasis on European Studies. After college, I'm either taking up residence in my current state of Missouri, in my dream state of Maine or the lovely, historic England.
I adore writing, but it typically never gets shown anywhere but on my desktop. I also love reading--seriously, I have an addiction. My guilty pleasure is romantic comedy novels, like those written by Katie MacAlister. She's, like, a literary role model.
I love the Harry Potter seres (that's an understatement, fyi). I have also been known to squee and flail over the Twilight books and movies... Well, up to Breaking Dawn. Then SMeyer is dead to me. I'm really particular about my fanfic and manips (look at that nerd-jargon!) and I shy away from things that are exactly canon. I'm also in the Legend of the Seeker and The Lonely Island fandoms.
My journal is typically about my life in college, the complaints, the joy, the missed classes and inevitable stress over exams. From time to time, I post a rare fanfic that shouldn't have ever seen the light of day. I squee, flail and post fandom doodads that other fangirls squeal with me over.
It is my goal to try and write in my journal at least once a day this year, because it'll keep me sane. Wish me luck, and have fun reading my ramblings.
