I am engaged in a Moses v. Pharaoh  battle right now.

My newspaper director told my counselor he "won't let me go."

Like I'm not equipped with free will.

I think I'll get a print out of the Exodus story and leave it in his mailbox and highlight a few key points, like the plagues of locusts and the famine.

I've got my counselor, Mr. H (which is short for "Hot"), on my side, so he's kind of like my Zipporah, and the news-beat editor is helping me out (Joseph!).

You know, Moses and I know how this is gonna turn out. It's just a matter of time.

Spike and Angel, President Roslin and Gaius Baltar, Harry and Hermione—shippers often find pairings that the original author might have overlooked. What coupling of fictional characters would you most like to see?

View 505 Answers

Okay, well, I always shipped Jo/Laurie. Stupid Amy and darn Jo's sensibilities. They would have been like, the Ron/Hermione of the 19th century. Srsly.

I also ship Jacob/Angela. Just because.

Other favorite pairings are: Dan/Blair and Jenny/Chuck from Gossip Girl, Draco/Ginny and Seamus/Dean from HP.

Really, though, I'm a canon girl. Rarely do I find fault with who the author picked to put together.

..DAMN YOU LOUISA MAY ALCOTT!!!!

Call it gym, P.E., recess, or pure hell, most people have participated in a class at school that focused on games and athletics. What sport or game did you hate the most when you were a kid? What sport or game was your favorite?

View 502 Answers

I hated swimming and virtually any game during high and middle schools but anything during elementary I remember as being really fun. Does anyone remember that game with the giant parachute? Everyone would grab the edges of it and one by one someone would try to run underneath it to the otherside and not get trapped under. SOOO much fun. Or that game with the giant multi-colored ball that we'd crab walk over to and kick like a soccer ball. Is it just a kid thing that giant objects equal fun?

Or just me?

Fans of Little Women often divide along Jo/Amy lines. Jo was independent and smart, but Amy always seemed to get what she wanted and have more fun. Are you in the Jo camp or the Amy camp?

View 500 Answers

Jo. I really disliked Amy in Little Women. Always have, always will. I can't believe that she even considered marrying Laurie after the history with Jo. Yes, Jo turned him down, but c'mon. Sisters before misters, broham, mk?

Team Jo all the way. Indepence, authoresses and men named after animals!

Is everyone else's LJ's weirding out on them?

Mine is.

Hardcore.

I have to refresh multiple times because it keeps telling me there's a problem loading the page. Horse hockey. It works on every other page. Except LJ ones. Especially LJ pages involving Jackson Rathbone or Alice/Jasper fics.

SHIIIIIT! This was a real entry but I tried sending it and internet connection failed and now...merde. I'm rewriting it. But I have no heart, so I'll break it down simply and angrily:

-His interview was delightful. He's humble and edible. Knees, please return from your melted state. Thank you.

-The "Am I the bad guy?" clip was fantastic and stuck to the story and made me generally quite happy with the movie's dialogue so far.

-I bought some super-sweet tights from Target. Black, diamond patterned and going to be killer with Dee's black tunic. Finger crosses that it looks good...

-NHS inductions tomorrow.Butterflies, commence fluttering.

-Chuck Bass is an orgasm on legs. A devious, diabolical, delectable orgasm on legs.

New icons.
Of course, Twilight related.
Definitely more on the horizon.
Is it just me or is Cam Gigandet gorgeous with his hair cut short? I saw him in a Gap ad and I tell you, heart palpitations insued.
And seriously? Taylor Lautner looks divine in my new icon. That is the Jacob I wanted to see--to hell with long, silky hair. I want hot.
Who's got "Never Think" on repeat? Me? Really? Did I add that Rob's voice is delectable? WANT!
Did I hear a InStyle Twilight photo shoot calling my name?
New RPattz interview on CW-11?
Say what?

1. I need to get to work on my fic for the Twilight Secret Santa exchange. I've written maybe a page and it's due Dec. 15. AHHH! Procrastination, why have you come upon me again?

2. I've finished reading Twilight for the fourth time, in anticipation of the movie Friday. I'll probably read it again just because.

3. I need to buy my ticket. Now. I don't care if I go alone, I'm going on Friday.

4. It's hot in this room. I think the anxiety over the fic is getting to me...

5. I've been staring at pictures of the Twilight gang from InStyle.com. I'm gonna make a few icons of my own but if anyone knows of some ready-made and delicious ones of Kellan or Rob, I would kiss their hands for a rec.

6. I hate when TV-adapted movies come on, particularly ones I know and love. The Parent Trap, the 1997 version with Lindsay Lohan (is she really a lesbian?), was on CW-11 and I could tell everytime they cut parts out for the adaption. It was awful. Never again, I say.

7. I had fun this weekend. Yes. Lots. Except for BF waking me up multiple times last night to bother me with questions and to mention that he could hear his parents "doing it" downstairs somewhere. Too much information for me to get back to sleep. Possibly too much information for you.

8. AHHHHH! Five days until Twilight!!!!!!!!!

Field mice always sleep facing northwest. Kangaroos can't walk backwards. Female hyenas have penises. Let's face it, nature is weird. What's the strangest thing you know about the animal kingdom?

Submitted By [info]kaley_93

Well, I know this animal that always craps in the same place. Seriously. And like, if there's another animal in that place, these animals will line up and wait until that animal is done before going to do it's business in the same place that just had that other animal's crap.

People are disgusting.

Oh, and pigs? Corkscrew penises and thirty-minute orgasms. WTH?
